Wi-Fi In Club Manila East

A wireless LAN (WLAN) is a local area network (LAN) without wires. Meaning, it can transfer data through the air using radio frequencies instead of cables. The use of wireless networks have been around for more than a decade, but are just gaining popularity due to falling costs and improved standards. To highlight some of the thriving enhancement correlated to this technology, the high-frequency WLAN (or Hi-Fi WLAN) has been branded as "Wireless Fidelity" (or Wi-Fi).

Wi-Fi network inside CME allows guests to roam around the resort with a laptop (equipped with a wireless LAN card/adapter) and stay connected to their network wirelessly. In other words, this will allow a mobile user to connect to a local area network (LAN) through a wireless (radio) connection.

Inside CME's premises now offer public a free access to a Wi-Fi network. These are located at:

  • Lobby

  • Fountain Area

  • Main Pavillion

  • Lap Pool

  • Social Hall

  • Parking Area

  • Restaurant

  • Souvenir Shop

  • Kiddie Pool

The high-speed wireless internet access allows guests with laptops and PDAs to surf the internet, check email and download videos, music and other data.
