Club Manila East Taytay
Meet Club Manila East
In a span of twelve years, Club Manila East (CME), the premier getaway destination in the heart of the progressive municipality of Taytay,
has been a favorite among families, couples, companies, businessmen, balik-bayans, barkadas,
and any individual seeking a unique, fun-filled experience.
The resort-hotel started off in 1999 with the Funtasy Lagoon, a 9,100 square gigantic pool for the adventurous guests, jazzed up with waterfalls, kayaks and surfbikes (water bicycles). The lagoon, which was a scaled down model of Laguna de Bay, hosted a kiddie pool and two adult pools: a sun-screened pool and another with a three-looped, 30-ft high slide. The surrounding day-tour cabanas, good for up to 20 persons and complete with shower and bath are named after the surrounding towns of Laguna de Bay.
CME then realized its guests’ thirst for even greater water attraction that would not only cool them up but also further spice up their occasional trips to the resort-hotel; hence, the addition of more pools that would address their need for more water-related action.
Then came two other water attractions: the 25-meter Lap Pool and the bean pool. Adjacent to the Funtasy Lagoon are the 25-meter Lap Pool for swimming lessons and water sports training, and the secluded bean-shaped garden pool.
In 2007, CME launched its first wave pool: BeachWaves. The 19,000 square feet pool was made even more exciting with the installation of a machine that generates waves of eight (8) different patterns and up to a maximum height of four (4) feet. From its launch, BeachWaves has had a steady growing fan base from guests who have experienced its powerful waves. Presently, the BeachWaves is the venue for the surfing lessons held everyday for kids and adults wanting to learn the sport.
In 2008, CME introduced its guests to Buzzy River: a 600-foot stream of gently flowing water across 16,000 square feet of land. Guests can ride their rubber tubes and go by its riverbanks through waterfalls and under bridges, while solely relaxing with the enjoying sounds and scenery.
It was in 2009 when CME broke records with the launching of OceanWaves, the biggest wave pool in the country. On top of having a pool area of more than 10 basketball courts combined, OceanWaves has also made its mark being the first surfing pool in the country with the most powerful waves of up to 1.5meters high.
This year (2011), CME welcomed the peak summer season with the launching of CME FLY, the newest and only high-flying attraction in the resort. Stretching from the OceanWaves down to the Giant Slide, the 6-floor high, 360-meter long zipline promises to take its guests to an adrenaline level they’ve never imagined.
With the addition of CME FLY, the possibility of having more exciting in-house activities such as wall climbing and rappelling cannot be far behind.
CME first offered overnight accommodations in 2003, mainly to tap the hotel goers and the long-stay seminar market.
